A turbine generator is a high-efficiency power generation device driven by turbomachinery, serving as a core energy conversion unit. It mainly converts the mechanical energy of fluids such as steam, gas and hydropower into electric energy. As the key power-generating component for thermal power, nuclear power, hydropower and gas-fired power stations, it features completely different functions from the three aforementioned centrifugal gas equipment and belongs to power output-type equipment.

Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, mechanical energy is converted into electric energy, featuring high overall operating speed and high energy conversion efficiency.
